WHO THE HELL IS MADDOG LUCAS
Good Question... Well it's a bunch of guys and a girl down here in Costa Rica and happen to also be musicians (or at least like to play music) and decided to get together and rock out the blues for no other reason than we dig it. Well one thing lead to another, and next thing you know we played a live gig and didn't even have a name. So after much debate (OK, it was much Tequila, but that's not important now) We came up with a few names and the suggestions eventually settled on "Mad Dog Lucas" Now, just to be clear, the name Maddog Lucas, is in the same vein as Jethro Tull, Lynyrd Skynyrd and other fictional names... so that settles that!
WHAT'S NEW
OK, a few updates. Lets see, First we were at Steve's Car Lot, but he sold it, so we were without a practice place for a while, then we tried a few places, but we were too fuckiing loud, so got evicted, Then Bea and Norbert stepped in and saved the day. Thanks Guys, we really did appreciate the cool space to play. We did a few Sunday Jams at La Jarra (Bar and Grill) and had one or two practices there when they were closed, but our schedules didnt work out, for that, and then we found a cool little place in San Jose to practice at.
We did a couple parties and and the H.O.G. Rally and are now just at "MOTOR PSYCHO'S" Bar and Grill, check out our new digs as the house band for the "Sunday Jams". Motor Psycho's is located in Santa Ana, and ALL musicians are welcome to come on down and jam, with us or with your own band. Eric is the man in charge and he is about 100 feet tall so ya can't miss him, (also just check out our picture galleries, he is the lead guitar player, so then you will know what he looks like. We are 1.8km west of the Red Cross, on the road to Piadades. Phone 203-8361
